So much for accountability! I obviously haven’t updated you since my big reveal but a lot has been going on. No excuses! But I had to prioritize and the blog did not make the cut.
Shortly after my last post my grandma died. She was old but was healthy so it was a bit of a shock and the scramble that came after took over my life for a couple of weeks. Also, I am planning the wedding now so trips to the out of town location have also come up and pressed the limits of my time commitments.
But through all of this I am quite proud of not having completely disregarded my routine. I may have missed a few workouts during the funeral but I got back on track quickly and did not fall off the food wagon.
So here are the results over the last almost month.
Bust: 43 inches (down 0.5 inches)
Under bust: 36.5 inches (no change)
Waist: 36.5 inches (no change)
Belly button: 42 inches (down 0.5 inches)
Hips: 51 inches (down 0.5 inches)
Right bicep: 14 inches (no change)
Left bicep: 13 inches (down .5 inches)
Right thigh: 28 inches (no change)
Left thigh: 28 inches (down 0.5 inches)
Weight: 243.2 lbs (down 2 lbs)
I’m not going to lie, this is a little frustrating. I know I had a lot going on but I felt really good about my last few weeks. That being said, I also know this is how my body works. Slow but steady. And I feel good in my ever-stabilizing routine.
Fiancee has really owned up and said he would workout with me. We started yesterday with this 8 week LIVESTRONG challenge.
I like it because it’s short, hard and you sweat a ton. I think it gives maximum impact in a short amount of time. I am super committed to doing all 8 weeks with no skips. I know it will be tough (trust me, you are sore after these workouts) but I think it will help my mind and body get into a routine.
